Learn How To Become a Nail Tech

Manicurists create intricate nails and styles using a variety of techniques and styles. But, they learn more than just how to apply nail polish. You can learn how to apply fake nails, acrylic nails, and so much more! If your dream is to pursue a future in the beauty industry faster, consider choosing to enroll in our manicuring program! Unlike our cosmetology or barbering programs, this program is much shorter and only focuses on the art of nails.

Amazing school, especially Mrs. Erika, one of the best instructors I have ever had. Definitely knows her things, I graduated with so much confidence and knowledge, she got me State Board ready!

The Advantages of a Manicuring Education at American Beauty College

We want our students to be prepared for their future in the nail industry! Our Pivot Point® International curriculum is designed to help students learn what they need to know to become licensed and professional nail technicians.

Something unique to our program is that students can create their own school schedules. You can start building a career in the beauty industry on a timeline that works best for you!

In addition to having flexible scheduling, our Manicuring Program is designed to give students the freedom to learn in the way that is best for them. Educators will be there to help you develop an educational experience that suits your personality and lifestyle.

As you get more experience learning how to shape nails, applying polish, and performing nail enhancements, you get the opportunity to practice what you learn in our student salon! All services are provided by students under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Start the Enrollment Process

If you love being creative and want to find a career in the beauty industry, contact us. Our admissions representatives can answer any questions you have about the Manicuring Program. They will be able to help you with the enrollment process, scheduling, and more.

From there, you can:

  1. Schedule a tour. This step is important so you can get an idea of our school’s culture and have any questions answered about our curriculum, schedule, and even when classes start!
  2. Fill out the paperwork. We’ll need to get additional information from you, such as your high school diploma and social security card. You’ll also need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to determine what financial aid you may qualify for.
  3. Get ready for your first day of class. Once you’ve chosen a start date and all paperwork is in order, it’s time to get ready for your first day! We’ll help walk you through everything you’ll need, including your nail kit and dress code.
